If you tell yourself something enough times, you will eventually believe it. When it comes to weight, your behavior follows your beliefs. If you believe that you have no control over your choices, then you will consistently fail to take any control when tempted by food.

The point: learn how to look in the mirror and not beat yourself up. You are a masterpiece just as you are. I try to teach my kids not to talk about themselves negatively when they are learning something new (or at all) because they will eventually believe what they are telling themselves. It goes the same for us. We can point out things we need to work in without tearing ourselves apart.

Challenge: speak life into yourself today. Look in the mirror and give yourself a compliment

Good morning friends!

Monday- the start of the week. Most people dread Monday’s (I know because I use to be one of them), I believe that Mondays are the start of something fresh. Monday’s: 7 new opportunities to improve ourselves. 7 new opportunities to bless someone else. 7 new opportunities to be grateful that God woke us up.

Here is something I want you to think about today:

Food is the source of our needs- not our wants. Food is meant to prepare our bodies for the millions of jobs it has to do in a day. Our physical body has to be a priority in our lives.

So when you eat, ask yourself- how will this food meet my needs? How hard is it for me to separate my wants from my needs? What do I need to change about the way I eat in order to accomplish my health goals?

Remember, you matter 💜
