Sarah Florence Meaux, 85, of Danville KY, was called to her heavenly home on Feb 7th 2026, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville Ky.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Wallace T Meaux Sr. and Sarah Belle Meaux, six brothers Arthur Meaux, Charles Meaux, Jimmy Meaux, Lee Meaux, Wallace Meaux, Richard Meaux, two sisters Dorothy Trumbo Meaux, Eugenia Meaux Carpenter.
Sarah was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Danville KY, until her health prevented her from attending.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Dora Davis and brother, Samuel Meaux, both of Danville, KY; 2 children, a daughter, Deborah Denise Johnson of Danville KY and James Edward (Christy) Scott of Stanford KY; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 12:00 (Noon) Monday, February 16, 2026 at First Baptist Church, 200 W. Walnut St., Danville, KY, Dr. Darrick Briscoe, Pastor. Burial will follow in Hilldale Cemetery, Duncan Hill Rd, Danville, KY. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until time of service.

Sarah Florence Meaux, 85, of Danville KY, was called to her heavenly home on Feb 7th 2026, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville Ky.

Wendell Wilkey Brown, officially and lovingly known as “Wink”, went to rest eternally with the Lord on November 19, 2025 in Lexington, Ky.

He was born unto the union of Sylvester Lovejoy Brown and Ann Elizabeth Graves Brown, on September 17, 1940 in Harrodsburg, KY.

He is proceeded in death by his sister, Lena Marie Brown McGraw and Great Aunt, Natalie R. Harris

Uncle Wink was educated at the Kentucky School for the Deaf in Danville, KY, where he called home.

Left to cherish him with precious memories; nieces, Victoria (James) Holden, Felicia G. McGraw; nephew, James Wendell Brown; great-nieces, Jashalon McGraw and Diona (Joshua) Hill; great-nephews, James Orlando (Tay) McGraw, Joshua Holden and Djimon Holden; among other relatives and friends.

Cremation was chosen.
