Happy Monday, sweet friends and clients!

With getting busier and consistently booking out 2+ weeks, I’m adding some new policies to my practice 😊

1) Cancellation policy: if you must cancel with less than 24 hours notice, I will ask for 50% of the appointment fee. For cash paying clients, this will be on an honor system. I will not be keeping cards on file at this time.
*Advance notice will allow me to offer the appointment time to someone needing to get in*

2) “Emergency” sessions: If you meet the criteria for me to book you on a day that I do not have a spot (i.e. I am not working/already full) there will be a $20 up charge to the session.

If these policies apply to you, it will be discussed at time of scheduling, and you will be aware of any additional charges.
I appreciate your understanding and support greatly, and I want to take the absolute best care of my people 💕

So…what is MLD?
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is an extremely LIGHT technique that assists the client’s tissues in moving excess fluid into and through the lymphatic system. There is no lotion used, the most minimal pressure, and no gliding—more of a “skin stretch”.

With this type MLD I can assist with post-op and post injury, bloat and detoxification, post stroke and paraplegic swelling.

I can NOT perform MLD on clients who are in active cancer status/treatment, have congestive heart failure, have kidney failure/loss, deep vein thrombosis(blood clots) or have acute infection.

If you have been diagnosed with edema or lymphedema due to loss of lymph nodes to prior surgery or the allowable conditions mentioned, please reach out! We can discuss if MLD is right for you.

An MLD session is 60 minutes for $120
Extended time and coordinating price may be adjusted per client.

I have been working hard to learn new skills for you!! I just completed Erik Dalton’s myoskeletal workshop on the 12 most common joint and nerve ailments and also recently became certified in basic manual lymphatic drainage.

I will be adding another post with specific MLD info. It is NOT massage as you know it, it is a very different and specialized technique.

I’m so excited to bring these skills to the table and broaden my scope of practice 😁

Now I offer THREE types of bodywork:
-Relaxation (please tell me if you want a quiet session or comforting discussion)
-Clinical/Therapeutic (focus on functional improvements and there will be communication)
-Manual Lymphatic Drainage “MLD” (different consent form and different $price$)

I will not be raising my regular rates at this time. We all need to be able to afford to take care of ourselves. Have a wonderful week and much love!!
