🚧Traffic Alert: Temporary Road Closure at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center 🚧
Starting Monday, Dec. 1, a section of the east campus road will be closed and will remain closed through December.
🔴 The closed section begins before the ER entrance and wraps around the Medical Office Building (in red on map).
🚑 Only emergency vehicles, shuttles and patients visiting the ER may go through.
🟢 All other traffic, including buses, should turn left at the bottom of the Medical Office Building and follow the green path to parking lots.
✅ You can reach the ER at all times.

Community is more than a place — it’s people, connections and shared purpose. 💙
Growing up just outside of Shamokin in Stonington, Jordan Karlovich, RN, knew she wanted to help people from an early age. Her journey to nursing began in high school, where a co-op program at Shamokin Area Community Hospital showed her the power of compassionate care. After graduating, she stayed on as a nursing assistant while earning her nursing degree at Misericordia University. Jordan never doubted she’d return home to care for the community that raised her.
“The Coal Region isn’t like other places,” she says. “I’m proud to care for the patients here. I get to share what this community instilled in me growing up and give it back tenfold.”

🚧 Traffic Update for Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center 🚧
Beginning Monday, Nov. 24, we’re updating the west campus traffic loop to improve safety and make getting around easier.
What’s changing?
🚙 The barriers between the Henry Cancer Center and main entrance are coming down.
✨ A new gate is being installed to support safer, clearer traffic flow.
💙 Use the light blue one-way path (unless you’re heading to the Henry Cancer Center).
💛 Going to the Henry Cancer Center? Follow the yellow route on the map.
