CPT will be supporting Win for Wyatt 5K on Saturday 8/23! We are excited to help support sweet Wyatt and his family who are currently on a battle against cancer.

We’d love to see many of our patients and staff at this event in support of the Hodges family ❤️

The next stop on our race calendar is the Win for Wyatt 5K! We are stoked to help the Hodges family and little Wyatt during this season in their lives! Last week, we had our second intensive camp week for the summer! This time, Olympic themed!

The purpose of this is to provide a camp that kids with varying therapy needs can participate in, a fun environment, but also a whole lot of intensive therapy to give kids a boost in skills participating in 2-3+ hours of therapy per day with some fun mixed in too!

We definitely had a blast- here’s a look into the first 2 days of camp! Aquatic therapy I think was a favorite for all!

💡 EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH SPOTLIGHT:

Savannah Gravely - she has a huge heart for her patients! She shows this continually by being creative with games during sessions, cross utilizing disciplines & volunteering for CPT events.

Savannah Gravely is a Physical Therapy Assistant at Center for Pediatric Therapies out-patient clinics in Martinsville and Danville, Virginia where she is providing services from birth to 21 years of age. She also provides school-based therapy services to children in Patrick County Public Schools in Stuart, Virginia.
Savannah was born in Bassett, Virginia.

She graduated from Patrick & Henry Community College in December 2023 with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Physical Therapy Assistant. She is now licensed by the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy after passing her boards in January 2024.

Savannah joined our team January 2024. Since this time, Savannah has worked diligently to enhance her treatment skills and overall knowledge as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Savannah now lives in Bassett, Virginia with her beloved dog. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and watching Netflix.

Way to go Savannah! 🥳
