In celebration of Month, we would like to recognize the wonderful support we receive from the Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust (IBCAT) to serve women in need, from screening to survivorship.

Since the Indiana Breast Cancer Plate was first made available in 2002, over $7 million has been distributed by IBCAT through competitively awarded grants to organizations throughout the state. These grants from IBCAT help us to provide free mammography and diagnostic services to patients who qualify.

Thank you, IBCAT, for your dedication and service to raising awareness and making a difference! Learn more about their mission at breastcancerplate.org.

Behind every safe surgery and procedure is a team making sure every instrument is clean, sterile and ready for use. At Hendricks, that work is led by Amanda Creager, Clinical Manager of our Central Sterile Department.

This July, Amanda was one of just 17 people nationwide, and the only person in Indiana, to earn the Golden Crown certification from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.

The Golden Crown means Amanda has advanced expertise in four areas of sterile processing and belongs to a select group recognized nationwide. We’re proud to celebrate this well-deserved honor!

We’re celebrating a milestone in community safety: 67 AEDs donated to more than 30 local organizations by the Hendricks Regional Health Foundation!

Our community partner organizations deserve the credit: By hosting this equipment and learning how to use it, they’re helping increase survival rates in the event of sudden cardiac arrest.

Thank you to the Hendricks Regional Health Foundation and our partners for making a lifesaving difference in our community!

Our Story

In 1962, we put down roots in Hendricks County with a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our community. More than five decades later, Hendricks Regional Health has grown into a full-service, community-based health system, with a breadth of award-winning, comprehensive services.

We are a nonprofit healthcare organization with a hospital in Danville, Indiana, and our newest hospital in Brownsburg, Indiana. Both of our hospitals are Magnet® designated, and we also have specialty and primary care doctors located throughout Western and Central Indiana, including Avon, Brownsburg, Danville, Lizton and Plainfield.

Part of being a community-based health system means being actively involved in community service, and we’re honored to work with more than 250 local nonprofit organizations throughout Indiana. Our team donates 4,000 volunteer hours annually, and we have over 900 associates who participate in our Hendricks Cares volunteer program. We also provide wellness and occupational services for over 400 local businesses and sponsor enrichment programs at more than 40 local schools.
