In observance of Independence Day, our office will be closed on Friday, July 4th. We will reopen with normal business hours on Monday, July 7th.

Thursday 5:30 pm-Crews have been able to restore approximately 850 outages sine the storm earlier. There are reports of trees and power lines down in the Brosville, Axton, and Dry Fork areas. There is a broken pole reported on Pine Lake Road due to a fallen tree.
Crews are working to restore the remaining 450 customer outages still outstanding.

Thursday 4:45 pm-We currently have about 1,300 customer outages attributed to the thunderstorms that moved through the area around 4:15 pm. All crews are out accessing the damage and making plans for restoration efforts. The larger customer outages are in the Main Street/West Main Street and Memorial Drive areas, Whispering Pines area in Brosville, and Strawberry Road area in Dry Fork. More information will be posted when the damage has been surveyed and restoration times are known.

Much of my work revolves around mothers, but one tradition on Labor and Delivery that I enjoy is being one of the first ones to be able to say “Congrats, Dad!” to welcome new dad’s into fatherhood as they see their baby for the first time.
