Spring is in full bloom! 🌷 There’s nothing quite like the feeling of dirt on your hands and the sun on your back! Our residents and staff took full advantage of the beautiful spring weather last week for a productive (and fun!) afternoon in the garden. ☀️

Together, we rolled up our sleeves to clear out debris, pull those pesky weeds, and prep our garden beds for a season of growth. It was the perfect way to soak up some fresh air, enjoy each other's company, and get our outdoor spaces looking their absolute best for the sunny days ahead. 🌻

A huge thank you to everyone who pitched in to help our community shine! We can’t wait to see what beautiful blooms this season brings. 🧤✨

Our latest Monthly Happy Hour was one for the books! There’s nothing quite like the energy in the room when residents and staff gather to relax, catch up, and enjoy some refreshments together.

The atmosphere was made even more special by the talented Aleksander, whose live music had everyone swaying along and enjoying the rhythm of the afternoon. These monthly socials are the perfect reminder of how much joy comes from simply spending time with neighbors and friends.

Thank you, Aleksander, for providing the perfect soundtrack to our celebration! 🎹✨

Our community was treated to a truly elegant performance recently by Jocelyn’s Flute Ensemble. The beautiful, airy melodies filled the air and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and uplifting afternoon.

It was wonderful to see our residents gathered together, mesmerized by the talented musicians and the graceful sounds of the flutes. There’s something so special about the power of live music to bring us all a little closer together.

Strumming into Spring! 🪕✨ Throwing it back to last month when the East Bay Banjo Club filled our community with toe-tappin' tunes and classic melodies! Our residents had a blast singing along to some old favorites and enjoying the incredible talent of this local group. It was an afternoon full of music, memories, and plenty of smiles.

Fresh Finds & Full Hearts! 🥕 We are still smiling after last week’s WellPath Farmer's Market for employees! 🌽🍎

A massive shout-out to our incredible Life Enrichment Assistant and Wellness Ambassador, Neela Arumugham, for bringing this vision to life. Neela organized a beautiful spread of fresh and healthy produce right here on campus, offered entirely for free to our hard-working team members.

At the Reutlinger, we know that taking care of our residents starts with taking care of our staff. Thanks to Neela’s dedication to wellness, our team headed home with bags full of nutrition and hearts full of gratitude.

Our Mitzvah Doers Club was in full force last week, proving that many hands make light (and very meaningful) work!

Around 15 of our wonderful residents teamed up to form an expert assembly line, working together to prepare 40 bag lunches for the Tri-Valley Haven Food Pantry. From crafting the perfect sandwiches to packing juice, cookies, and fruit, every bag was filled with care.

At the Reutlinger, we believe there’s no greater joy than giving back. We truly enjoyed the afternoon of service, and we hope these meals brought a little extra brightness to our neighbors in need.

Yesterday, our very own Myron Fink graced us with a stunning piano performance. From the technical brilliance of Chopin to the dreaminess of Debussy, Myron proved that true talent only gets better with time. We are so lucky to have such incredible artistry in our community!

What a week! 🎭 Our community is still buzzing from our Annual Purim Shpiel. Earlier this week, our talented residents and staff took the stage to retell the story of Esther with humor, music, and a little creative flair. From the stunning costumes to the catchy songs, it was a wonderful reminder of the creativity and spirit that thrive here at The Reultinger.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s Shpiel one for the history books! 👑✨

Celebrating Professional Excellence in Assisted Living! 🏆 We are incredibly proud to announce that our Social Services Coordinator, Olga Leynov, has received a Certificate of Recognition from the California Assisted Living Association (CALA).

Olga was nominated for CALA’s prestigious Excellence in Service Award for her noteworthy contributions to the residents she serves and to the field of Assisted Living. This certificate honors her for "outstanding service to residents and contributions to the field of Assisted Living."
