Hi Admiral Families!

The Danville Independent School District FRYSCs have reconfigured! This means that each school has their own Family Resource Center or Youth Service Center. The new names are as follows:

Hogsett Primary FRC
Toliver Intermediate FRC
John W. Bate YSC
Danville High School YSC

Each Center now has its own full-time Coordinator and we are thrilled for this opportunity to more effectively serve our families and students.

My name is Jenny Clark and I am the new DHS YSC Coordinator and I am excited to learn more about serving in a Youth Services Center. This is my ninth year with the Danville Independent School District, my fifth year in FRYSC.

The DHS YSC operates during the school day until 4:15pm. You can text me at 859-592-8845 during this time or call my desk at 859-936-8473. You are also welcome to schedule a meeting with me regarding resources or referrals Monday-Friday and I can work with you on times if you work during the school day. Don't ever hesitate to reach out!

So, no more Families First and no more Beacon, just new, separate but mighty FRYSCs! Thank you for your support and let us know what we can do to remove non-academic barriers to your child's academic success!

Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024 will be Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) day #1 for Danville Independent Schools. Our schools will be closed, and students will be completing school work from home. Mary G. Hogsett Primary School and Edna L. Toliver Intermediate School have sent home packets to be completed, and students at John W. Bate Middle School and Danville High School will be completing work virtually. Central Office will have a delayed opening at 9 a.m. Stay safe and warm.
