Properties of the MCHS include the Montgomery House, The Boyd House and the Mooresburg School House.

For 87 years, the Montour County Historical Society has been a part of this community, operated entirely by volunteers and fueled by curiosity, stories, and shared history.

In our spaces, we have had:
📚 Authors joining us for special events
🎖️ Scouts earning badges while volunteering
🔍 Individuals researching their family histories
🌎 Visitors from across the country and right here at home

History is not just preserved here; it is experienced, discovered, and shared.

Admission:
• Free for members and children under 18
• $10 for non-members
