On Thursday, our team had the opportunity to attend the Centra PACE Aging Expo, the first time Centra has ever hosted this incredible event!

This expo gave seniors in our community a chance to explore a wide range of services available to them, all in one place. Attendees were able to collect helpful resources, enjoy goodies, and most importantly, connect face-to-face with the people behind these services.

We are grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event that truly supports and uplifts our senior community. Looking forward to many more opportunities like this!

On Friday, we made sure to send our amazing team into the weekend feeling appreciated—with some well-deserved treats and a few surprise donut runs (yes, even at 2 AM 🍩).

Our residents loved our 'Sip & Paint' 🎨🖌️program with our administrator, Hill Harrison, today! They loved the interaction with Hill and enjoyed painting and socializing with each other. While painting, we enjoyed a sip of sparkling juices too!🙂

Piney Forest residents and staff enjoyed an afternoon participating in a book reading program that one of our patients, Mrs. Covington, wrote.📖

The story was about love and patience. Mrs. Covington is a very special lady who is so uplifting to everyone she meets. We also awarded certificates of appreciation to our facility doctor, Dr. Neil Schwartzman, our facility NP, Amanda Crews, and the north unit manager, Diana Kingery.

Mrs. Covington also shared some of her artwork during her program. Piney Forest thanks Mrs. Covington for sharing her talents with us and hosting our book reading programs.🩷

Some of our management teams were able to give back to our community to those in need. Our team served a spaghetti dinner to the
residents of the 'House of Hope' in Danville, VA. We also provided donations of items needed for the home. It was such a rewarding an heartwarming
evening being able to meet and talk with the residents and to see them smiling and happy! Working together to make our community a better place for everyone🙂
