I spend a lot of time in nature and keep my body moving to help release stress as it builds up. I also practice being kind and gentle with myself when I fall short.
It's very hard to think yourself to a better place when you are struggling mentally. Consistently getting daily sunlight and going for walks can help to naturally lower stress and boost feel good chemicals within your body.
