We hit the road for a fun-filled girls trip to Siler City, NC , and made some unforgettable memories along the way! 🚗✨

Our first stop was an absolutely delicious lunch at Bestfood Cafeteria, and then we headed over to FireClay Cellars for a relaxing day at the winery.

There’s nothing like a day out, lots of laughs, and time spent together making memories. We're already planning the next adventure! 🥂

It was a bittersweet day as we celebrated one of our residents, Sarah, before her move down south to Alabama. 💐 🏡

Sarah has gracefully shared her music talents with us during the years she's been at , and we just had to gift her with a plaque and cake to celebrate!

We're wishing her all the happiness in this next chapter! 🧡

We had another wonderful monthly visit from our sweet friends across the street at Mount Vernon Children's House, and it was full of smiles, learning, and special moments! 👦👧

Together, we explored the magic of butterflies and how they start as caterpillars. Of course we had to tell them the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, a favorite that brought out lots of laughter and joy.

These intergenerational visits are so meaningful for our residents and children alike. Watching friendships grow across generations is truly something special. 🧡🐛

We had the pleasure of welcoming our VP of Resident Programs & Memory Care, Paula, for a special class! 🌍

Paula shared her inspiring wellness journey and her upcoming adventure climbing Mount Kilimanjaro—a lifelong bucket list goal.

Residents enjoyed learning about the destination, setting bold goals, and even signed the flag that will travel with her to the summit! 🏔️

One thing these bucket lists have taught us is, “It’s never too late to be who you might have been.” 💙

Ruth, one of our Sweet Memories residents, had such a joyful time exploring music in a whole new way! 💜

With a few gentle taps and lots of smiles, she brought this beautiful tongue drum to life, proving that music can be felt just as much as it is heard.

The laughter, the rhythm, and the shared moment made this activity truly special.🎶✨

Several of our Independent Living residents stepped into wellness this January, literally! 👟✨

This initiative is part of our Step Challenge, encouraging our residents to stay active, engaged, and inspired every step of the way. 🌎

Together, they logged an amazing 581,178 steps, earning a $500 reward for their efforts. To celebrate, they chose a wonderful night out at J&T’s on the Main filled with great food, laughter, and fellowship.

We are so proud of their accomplishment and can’t wait to see where their journey takes them next! 🔜

Our Boston celebrations continued as we highlighted beef and cheese sliders topped with a zesty horsey mayo. 🍔😋

What's the connection you ask? This sandwich was heavily inspired by the regional North Shore Roast Beef Sandwich popular in the Boston and Massachusetts North Shore area. 🌊

While enjoying our bite, Chef Rudy taught us all about the rich history and excitement of the Boston Marathon. His energy, storytelling, and track suit truly brought the spirit of Boston right to us!

Jeffrey is one of our Sweet Memories residents, and there’s nothing he enjoys more than spending time outdoors—especially when he can lend a helping hand! 🧰

This spring, he is right in the middle of the action, assisting our Maintenance Director, Steven, with a little seasonal sprucing up. 🏠

His willingness to jump in and help is a wonderful reminder of how meaningful it is to stay engaged and connected.

We love seeing Jeffrey doing what he enjoys most—fresh air, a sense of purpose, and a job well done! 👏
