Who doesn’t love a warm chocolate chip cookie, especially when it’s served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream?! 🍪😍

Recently, our wonderful volunteer, Penny, brought some extra joy to our Assisted Living residents by celebrating National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!

She not only treated everyone to these tasty treats, but also shared fun trivia about the dessert.

To make the day even more special, some of our residents shared their favorite cookie recipes too. What a delightful way to bond over something so delicious! 👏

Our residents absolutely love it when musical performers come to show off their talents! 🤩 🎶

Recently, we had a wonderful time welcoming Jeff Smith, Rob Compton, and Bert Jones, who treated us to a delightful mix of country tunes, gospel songs, and some good-natured comedy. Everyone was tapping their toes and singing along! 🎙️

When National Gorgeous Grandma Day rolls around, you know we have to celebrate! 🤩 ✨

Some of our Assisted Living ladies were thrilled to model and show off their beauty on the big day last week.

This special day is all about honoring grandmothers not only for their beauty, but their wisdom, vibrant spirit, and grace. 🩷

It’s a lovely way to recognize and appreciate their incredible contributions while shaking off those silly age stereotypes. We had so much fun celebrating together!

Whenever Robbie and Betty Vance perform at , our residents can’t resist getting up to sing and dance! 🕺🪩

Last weekend, their music featured hits from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Robert, one of our Independent Living residents, said, “This group was so good, they had everyone out of their seats!” 🤩

Recently, the talented Stephanie Davis, from the LHC Group Inc., joined us for a fun photoshoot with our residents, featuring a Navy ship as the backdrop in celebration of our theme!

Creating your own drums makes playing the drums twice as fun! 🥁👏

Our residents, along with the preschoolers from Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, participated in a musical story time featuring our own drums.

At , we take pride in offering intergenerational programs that reduce social isolation, enhance mental and physical health, and foster empathy and understanding between generations. 💙

We can't wait for these superstars to come back and visit again!

At , our Sunday Brunches are exceptional! 🍽️ 😋

This month, as part of our theme of “Vintage Maritime Port of Call,” our residents, along with their families and friends, enjoyed a delicious seafood spread.

Lakeisha, our Dining Services Director, along with her team, did a fantastic job preparing the meal and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it!

Richard, one of our Assisted Living residents, remarked, “We could do this everyday!” 👏
