Pitt. Co. deputies investigate breakins
(Chatham) -- The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office a pair of breaking enterings that could be related.
The first happened April 25th at 3:53am at Rickey’s Market on Mount Cross Road. The suspect was wearing a black hat, black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, camouflage mask, blue jeans, and black shoes. They were possibly operating a dark colored four door sedan of unknown make and model.
The second happened Thursday at 3:52am at the Liberty gas station on Franklin Turnpike. The suspect was wearing a long sleeve yellow shirt, black hat, a mask and dark colored pants.
In both cases, the thief stole an undetermined amount of Newport brand ci******es. The suspect is seen in the attached photo from surveillance footage at the Liberty gas station.
