Leaving work this evening to a very thoughtful gift!!! The gentle breeze was a bit more invigorating tonight from the refreshing aroma of wintergreen wafting from the empty Zyn cans left in one of our parking spaces! It can be agreed, that 1 can might not have had the desired effect. So adding another 6 was just the right number!! We usually find ourselves picking up half-eaten fast food….covered in ants, old ketchup, and in soggy bags that have been run over by others. There has even been the occasional dirty diaper. You haven’t lived the true aromatherapy of wintergreen until you have the memory to compare to of some of the more repugnant things that we pick up in our parking lot on a weekly basis from people who feel that it is okay to clean out their vehicles on site instead of finding a garbage can!! We wish we knew who we could thank for this particular anonymous gift. Intellectual curiosity is at an all time high right now, and it is fascinating the so many questions that have come to mind about the thought process that goes behind such a brilliant move as this.
On behalf of all small businesses and property owners throughout lower Alabama, please put yourselves in a similar situation and ask yourself how you would feel to find that someone had left their trash on your property for you to deal with? We are proud of our facility and work hard to keep it a clean and well maintained property. Please show us the same kindness and consideration that you would hope to receive in a reversed scenario.
Respectfully,
Dr. Michael Mahoney
(p.s. - does anyone know how to get the smell of wintergreen from empty Zyn cans off of their hands? Asking for a friend)
