Exceptional Foundation Gulf Coast Non-profit program that provides social & recreational opportunities for the special needs community

EFGC opened the doors October 31, 2011 to 8 participants who all wanted the same things - friends. During the past 12 years we have grown and have served over 200 families. EFGC offers a vast range of activities including; cooking, art, Special Olympics, service projects, field trips and much more. More About Nancy Raia:
Nancy Raia has served as the Community Outreach Director at the Eastern Shore Art Center for over 23 years, and currently is serving as Artist in Residence at the United States Sports University. She loves teaching students of all ages 3-103) and abilities, her favorite topic to teach and enlarge in others is creative thinking. She has won awards in various arenas, as an artist and a teacher, locally and statewide and had shows traveling the country.
Nancy believes the arts reach people in ways beyond normal communication, and are a valuable part of a healthy society.
