🧠 May is Stroke Awareness Month 🧠

We’re incredibly grateful to the Peed Family for their generous donation of two stroke transfer weight scale boards, which are now in use at both Thomas Hospital and Thomas Hospital Emergency - Malbis.

These specialized boards enable our clinical teams to quickly determine a patient’s weight upon arrival, which is crucial when evaluating a potential stroke patient for thrombolytic (clot-busting) treatment. In stroke care, every second counts, and this gift directly supports faster decision-making and better outcomes.

🔥🌶️ What an amazing time at the 2025 American Cancer Society Chili Cookoff! Our Infirmary Cancer Care team chose the theme "Throwin' Beads, Tossin' Cancer" for this fun and flavorful event. We came together, shared a passion for making a difference, and served up some incredible chili 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 to support the fight against cancer.

Huge thanks to everyone who participated, donated, or simply came out to support the cause. It’s always great to see our community unite for such an important mission.
