MEET OUR TEAM!
Dr. Griffin Dumont was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, graduating from McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in 2019. She attended Auburn University (War Eagle!) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science Summa Cum Laude in 2022. During her time at Auburn, she also earned her Business minor while studying abroad and was involved with many extracurriculars including student and athletic recruiting and holding leadership positions with the Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy Club.
For physical therapy school, Griffin attended the University of South Alabama where she was inducted into Alpha Eta, an honor society for healthcare professionals. She was also the service chair for her class, helping to coordinate service opportunities including a shoe drive for Homeless Connect and the departmental annual Sensory Friendly Trick or Treat. While in the physical therapy program, she also met her now fiancé! They both love to train for triathlons and half marathons together and believe that training for events like these teaches them discipline, patience with the process, and humility. In their free time, they enjoy cooking together and playing with their sweet yellow lab (Otis aka Oat/Oatie/Oatmeal) who grew up as a puppy with them while in PT school. Griffin is excited to be in her hometown serving the community that helped form who she is today!
