Getting outside the comfort zone isn’t just for our kids. Parents pursuit of what makes you joyful. Matters!! So get out there and make something. Art, yoga, hobbies, gardening, athletics, dancing, fishing and sports. Our kids and teens are watching us. This is my first watercolor of a face. Anxiety left me waiting. Until I was ready. Nope. Dive in. My beloved Angus. Imperfect. Showing up anyway. Kids learn by what we do.

Thank you to a dear client who saw this and immediately thought to send it to me. It is an honor to guide and support parents of children with disabilities. The real story of the Goddess Nemesis suits me and my vocation - she holds the truth in highest regard and those who violate it - are swiftly held accountable. My sister used to say my wrath - was like a verbal howitzer. Nemesis embodies divine retribution and she is a restorer of balance. Her name means “to distribute fairly” or “to give what is due”. Let the work to ensure kids receive an equitable education. Begin.

I was honored to provide an Intro To Meditation session with Breast Cancer survivors. It was striking how similar we are. The women shared an inquiry. Why is Self compassion and taking time to care for themselves such a daily struggle. We, as a collective resonated with this concept. Self worth is a principle; we already have self esteem. And self worth leads to setting limits and setting standards. Women are raised, conditioned and labeled as selfish. Most Often, when we take care and expect to put ourselves first. We liked: badass bi***es. Laughter, joy and grief are braided together in our nervous system. And all of it is there, in the same breath.
