On behalf of the management and staff of Darien Funeral Home, we humbly and prayerfully ask that you continue to lift the family of Mr. Robert Davis, Jr., a devoted and faithful servant of Zion Baptist Church, in your hearts, your thoughts, and your petitions unto the Lord during this sacred season of remembrance.

May every act of kindness, each word spoken in love, and every prayer lifted up become a source of divine comfort and strength, sustaining the family as they reflect upon a life beautifully lived in service, unwavering faith, and steadfast devotion.

As we gather in solemn reflection, we are gently reminded that in God’s infinite wisdom and perfect will, He grants His servants eternal rest from their earthly labors. On behalf of the management and staff of Darien Funeral Home, we respectfully ask that you continue to keep the family of Mr. Rickey A. Norman, a faithful and dedicated Deacon of Elm Grove Baptist Church, lifted in your hearts, thoughts, and prayers during this sacred hour of remembrance.

Mr. Norman will long be remembered not only for his unwavering faith and spirit of service, but also for his gift of bringing people together. Known throughout Downtown Crescent as a true “Master of the Grill,” he found joy in preparing delicious meals and sharing them with family and friends. His love for cooking was matched only by the warmth and devotion he showed to those he held dear—his greatest happiness came from spending time with loved ones and creating memories around the table.

May every expression of love, each spoken word of comfort, and all prayers offered strengthen and sustain the family as they reflect on a life of service, faith, and devotion.

As we gather in this moment of reflection, we are reminded that God, in His divine wisdom, grants rest to His servants after their earthly labor is complete. Though we mourn, we do not grieve without hope, for we trust in the promise of eternal life and everlasting peace.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day.”
