A familiar face you know, and trust has returned to LHC!
Michelle Hauser is back in a dual role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and PA-C, Urology + Women's Health. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome her home as we continue to grow for the future of healthcare in our communities.
Michelle shared what brought her back to LHC, "It feels like I am coming back home! This is a great opportunity to work with Dr. Ian Stormont in Urology and as the COO. I am excited to work alongside the LHC employees and continue to strengthen all areas of our excellent hospital and clinics, it's a tradition that we've always been known for!"

Thank you to the Lafayette Hospital + Clinics Foundation for purchasing The Hana Orthopedic Surgery Table. This specific equipment is designed to support orthopedic surgeries—especially total hip replacements and hip arthroscopy—by helping surgeons position patients for a direct anterior approach. It allows for smaller, less invasive incisions (8–10 cm), which means less tissue damage, faster recovery, less pain after surgery, and a lower risk of dislocation. Key benefits include stable patient positioning, real-time imaging support, and quicker overall recovery.
