The residents at Cedar Dell had a wonderful afternoon creating galaxy-inspired art! Guided by our instructor Naomi, they experimented with sponging and splattering paint to bring colorful, swirling galaxies to life – The room was filled with creativity, laughter, and beautiful artwork, making it a truly enjoyable experience for everyone!

We had the pleasure of welcoming BayCoast Bank to The Residence at Cedar Dell for a Fraud Prevention Seminar, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The presentation, led by Evelyn, was incredibly informative and engaging. Residents were actively involved throughout, asking thoughtful questions and enjoying learning the important dos and don’ts of staying safe from fraud and scams. Adding to the fun, residents arrived in great style wearing their favorite hats as we also celebrated Hat Day, bringing smiles and personality to the room. A heartfelt thank you to BayCoast Bank, Teddi, Shawn, and Evelyn for taking the time to educate and empower our residents with the knowledge they need to protect themselves!

A Moment of Pure Calm at Cedar Dell. 🧘‍♀️We were honored to welcome Priscilla Gale into our community for a truly peaceful and soul-soothing Meditation Bowl Experience. The gentle, calming tones filled the room and created a sense of serenity that could be felt by all. One of the bowls shared with us was over 100 years old, adding a beautiful layer of history and depth to the experience. As the vibrations flowed through the space, many of our residents couldn’t help but fully relax—some even drifted off into the most peaceful naps. It was a reminder of how powerful sound, stillness, and intention can be. A truly magical and restorative afternoon enjoyed by all.

Our residents enjoyed a truly special field trip to the Fall River Carousel and Gathering Grounds Cafe, and it was nothing short of magical. This carousel is the very same one many of our residents rode as children at Lincoln Park, making the experience incredibly meaningful. As the music played and the carousel spun, stories flowed, smiles widened, and memories from childhood came rushing back. Afterward, we gathered at Gathering Grounds Café to relax, enjoy delicious treats, and continue sharing stories from the past. It was a beautiful reminder of how powerful nostalgia can be – and how meaningful it is to revisit places that hold our memories close. A day we will all cherish and remember for a long time to come!

What a truly incredible afternoon of music and joy! One of our talented restaurant associates Lauren treated the residents to a beautiful viola performance – and surprised everyone by bringing along her sister, who plays the violin. The melodies filled the room, creating a peaceful, uplifting atmosphere that had everyone listening in awe. Between songs, they added a fun touch with music trivia, sparking conversation, laughter, and wonderful memories. It was such a special experience to see our associates share their personal talents and passions with our residents. Moments like these remind us that music truly connects hearts!

Residents in our Reflections Memory Care Neighborhood here at Cedar Dell enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of holiday harp music shared by family and friends. They delighted in a hot chocolate cart and a beautifully arranged charcuterie table offering a variety of sweet and savory selections. The performance concluded with a special singalong featuring a few beloved holiday favorites, bringing everyone together in celebration. It was a festive gathering, and the holiday spirit was truly felt throughout the afternoon!
