2️⃣ Complete intake forms - All forms will be shared via a secure portal so you can complete them prior to your visit.
3️⃣ Schedule your evaluation - At this appointment we will assess development, answer your questions, discuss goals, and develop a plan to support your child and family's individual needs. We will schedule future sessions typically 1-2 times per week to work with your child towards those goals.

Leading the conversation will be Ashley Traylor - Family Advocate, M.Ed. Ashley is the founder of EmpowerEd Consulting & Advocacy and the Executive Director of Bridges to Advocacy, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering families of children with disabilities, especially those in underserved communities. A former special education teacher with 17 years of classroom experience and a master’s degree in special education, Ashley became a non-attorney special education advocate in 2022. She draws from her professional expertise and personal experience as a parent of a child with special needs to help families navigate the IEP process, secure appropriate supports, and build collaborative relationships with schools.
Whether you’re just starting your journey or looking for guidance along the way, you’ll leave with practical resources, answers to your questions, and a supportive network of other parents who “get it.”

We will be offering this event on two different dates:
