This week Karen and I will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary! The official day is March 8 but we're taking the whole week off to celebrate the incredible love we have for each other. We'll also be visiting some parks and other fun places, including a fun spot with our wonderful family, Alex, Val and Evie!

Hi folks,
Karen's birthday is today and she has continued to heal very well. Her Cardiologist has stated that she is actually healing ahead of schedule! She's now able to perform most normal activities with only a minor need for help here and there.

Thanks again for all your help with prayers and healing energy!

Karen just got out of her open heart surgery and the surgeon reported to me. Everything went as expected for optimal surgery, no problems! Karen will be in CEU section the rest of the day and possibly tomorrow for first recovery steps and to make sure no problems develop. She will be going up to the regular part on the hospital today or tomorrow for continued healing and physical therapy for the next several days.

As you probably guess, I'm feeling much happier and more relaxed. Thank you again for your positive thoughts, blessings and prayers!

You may have heard that Karen is in the hospital with heart problems. On Thursday afternoon she had severe chest pain and our home EKG tested showed she had heart aFib. I called 911 and they came, worked on her a bit and took her to Genesis East hospital. She had worse heart tests than she had in 2019 when she also had aFib. It turned out that she has severe heart vein blockages from 80% to 95%. Fortunately, she did not have much heart damage yet which may suggest the the blockage has not been there a long time. She is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday. We're in the process of deciding whether she will have stints or open heart surgery. With stints, she may only be in the hospital for a couple of days after the surgery. With the much more invasive open heart surgery, she will be in the the hospital for a week after surgery.

Please send your love, energy and prayers toward her healing and best recovery from the best surgery. BTY, she is in room 4411 of Genesis East.

I won't be working in the office next week as we prepare for the surgery and I support Karen.
