🦅🩸Kirkwood Community College students know the importance of giving back and learning together! Thanks to faculty member and Associate Board member, Tara Allen, students helped host and promote today’s blood drive, plus they also got hands-on experience creating content and engaging donors.

Some people donate for the first time. Others have been watching it happen their whole lives.
Kim grew up seeing her mom give nearly 30 gallons over a lifetime of donating. When Rock Valley Physical Therapy hosted their recent drive and weeklong in-center campaign, Kim showed up, and left as the raffle winner.
Her advice? It's easy. Just 30 minutes.

Today, we celebrated Reds for Rich 4th annual blood drive hosted by Our Savior's Lutheran Church and School in Springfield Illinois.

The drive was in honor of Rich Gansheimer, who passed away from acute lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2021. Rich benefited from countless whole blood & platelet donations that gifted 10 months of memories for the family.
