Barefoot Bar Ashiatsu is a therapeutic technique with roots in various traditional practices from around the world. In this method, the massage therapist uses overhead bars for support and balance while applying deep, consistent pressure using their feet. This approach allows for broad, even strokes with minimal strain, helping to protect the therapist’s hands, wrists, and arms from fatigue or injury. With Ashiatsu, your final massage of the day can be just as effective and invigorating as your first—and you may even increase the number of clients you can treat comfortably in a day.
