Medical Coding Geek Medical Coding Geek was created in a response to a pivotal change in Medical Coding, the transition from ICD-9 to ICD-10. His teaching style is simple.

What started out as a solo tutoring opportunity has grown to be a social media brand. Brian Cui, RHIA, CDIP is a health information professional with over 15 years of experience, involving a variety of roles in Health Information Management, Adult education, and Clinical Documentation Improvement. Brian specializes in tutoring those preparing for Health Information Technology and Medical Coding certification examinations. We identify the strengths and weak areas and focus our attention and instruction to gain proficiency through online discussions, research, and case study discussion. The Medical Coding Geek brand has evolved into promoting the culture of being a Medical Coder by discussing a variety of topics including learning methods, education, credentialing, and networking.
