Today we gather to honor and remember Nancy, a woman whose life was defined by compassion, devotion, and the simple joys that made her uniquely herself.

Nancy dedicated her career to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a role she embraced with warmth and quiet strength.

Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. As an active member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Nancy lifted her voice in the choir and built lasting friendships within her church family. It was there that she met her dearest friend, Kay Ann Ohl. Their bond quickly became unbreakable, leading them to share not only a home but also countless memories—especially their cherished shopping trips and everyday adventures together. Animals held a special place in Nancy’s heart throughout her life. She cared for several dogs over the years, and her beloved companion, Angel, remains a testament to the love and loyalty she gave so freely.
Nancy will be remembered for her generous spirit, her unwavering kindness, and the quiet but powerful way she touched the lives of those around her. Her legacy lives on in the care she gave, the friendships she nurtured, and the love she shared so freely.

Today we honor the life of Jim, a man who found genuine happiness in life’s simplest and most meaningful moments. He took great joy in playing games, working with his hands through woodworking, traveling to new places, and especially in the peaceful hours spent fishing at the family cabin.
Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves and devoted much of his life to protecting and serving others as a firefighter. His commitment to his community reflected his strength, courage, and selflessness.
Above all else, Jim’s greatest love was his family. They were the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His legacy lives on in the memories he created, the lives he touched, and the love he gave so freely.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Today we honor a woman who dedicated 30 years of her life to working within the school system, touching countless lives along the way. She found joy in the simple things—playing euchre, taking trips to Vegas, and, above all, spending time with her family and friends.
She was known for her kindness and compassion, and she truly loved meeting new people. Her warmth made strangers feel like friends, and her presence made every gathering brighter.
Her husband, children, and friends meant everything to her. She gave her love freely and fully, and that love will continue to live on in everyone who knew her.
