Empowering Abilities At Empowering Abilities, we support people with disabilities at home, at work and the community. Empowering Abilities helps people achieve those goals.

People with disabilities have the same fundamental rights and needs as everyone else. They want to be loved, to feel worthy, and to be part of their community. By being consumers, employees, taxpayers, and neighbors, Empowering Abilities participants achieve a sense of belonging. From the work they do, they experience pride and satisfaction for doing a job well and being rewarded by a paycheck. By living in the community, they learn what it's like to pay bills and how to be a responsible citizen and a good neighbor.

💪 Resilience in Action 💙 Mission Moment Monday

Earlier this summer, Empowering Abilities faced a major challenge when severe storms and flooding impacted several of our properties. One of our group homes had to be evacuated, and our residential center experienced significant water damage.

In the face of adversity, our incredible team rose to the occasion. Staff members acted quickly to ensure everyone’s safety and worked tirelessly in the days that followed—some even stepping in during personal time or while on vacation.

We are deeply grateful for the dedication, compassion, and teamwork shown during this time. You are the heart of Empowering Abilities. 💙
