Community Health Care Iowa WIC Program WIC provides nutritious foods, health & nutrition education, access to health care, and breastfeeding promotion and support to those who qualify. mail: U.S.

The Women, Infants and Children Program, or WIC, is a nutrition education and supplemental food program for children under the age of 5; pregnant women; post-partum women; families, parents, step-parents, guardians and fathers with children under age 5; and a breastfeeding mother with a child under the age of 1 may be eligible for the program. WIC provides:
Monthly food benefits, Mini health check

ups, Referrals to community agencies and health care facilities, Lead screenings, Dental screenings and fluoride varnish by a CHC registered dental hygienist, Breastfeeding support for moms and babies

In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by: 1. This Thursday - Join us for the SCHD 2026 Quad Cities Preeclampsia Awareness Walk!

We want to walk together to bring awareness to, and support families impacted by, preeclampsia. Preeclampsia is a serious high blood pressure condition that occurs during pregnancy. It can cause major health concerns for the mother and the baby.

✔ Hear guest speakers, including local moms

✔ Remember loved ones affected by preeclampsia

✔ Walk around Vander Veer as a group

✔ Visit with vendors and enjoy the park
