It’s happening tomorrow! ☀️ 🔥

On February 17, 2026, our planet kicks off a rare stretch of celestial events that we won’t see again until 2044. Over the next three years, the world will witness an incredible run of six solar eclipses a mix of dramatic total eclipses and breathtaking “ring of fire” events.

Tomorrow’s show is an annular solar eclipse, often called a “Ring of Fire.” This happens when the Moon is a little farther from Earth, so it can’t completely block the Sun. Instead, a brilliant circle of sunlight blazes around the Moon’s silhouette one of the most stunning sights in astronomy.

The full annular “ring” will appear over Antarctica, while a partial eclipse will be seen across southern parts of South America (including Chile and Argentina), southern Africa, and nearby ocean regions.
