I’m finally back to normal sinus rhythm!! 🕺

Earlier this year, I started having issues with A-Fib. Just in the past couple of months, it became 24/7. The medication was keeping it in check, but it was inevitable that I needed a heart procedure(what is called an ablation) to get me back into a normal sinus rhythm again. I’m good now! Expected to be back to work soon. Big thanks to Dr. Shen, all the nurses and tech over at the Unity Point Cardiac Center. WQAD

Today marks the last day of September and PAD Awareness Month but awareness of Peripheral Artery Disease doesn’t stop here. PAD is a serious vascular condition that can be managed more effectively when caught early.

The key takeaway: pay attention to symptoms like leg pain with activity, slow-healing wounds, or temperature differences between your legs. Don’t ignore the signs- early detection matters.

At CVM, we continue to promote PAD awareness and education all year long because your vascular health deserves attention every day, not just in September.
