This month is all about reflection, kindness, and caring for our mental well-being. 🍂

🧠 November 5th is National Stress Awareness Day- a reminder to pause, breathe, and recognize how stress affects our minds and bodies.

Stress is a normal part of life, but it doesn’t have to control it. Take today to check in with yourself:
⁃ What’s one thing you can do to ease your mind?
⁃ What boundaries can you set to protect your peace?

November also highlights Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, encouraging open conversations and support for those who often feel pressure to stay silent.

Let’s make this month a season of self-care, connection, and compassion for ourselves and for others.

Career-Minded is proud to announce the appointment of Aaron Randolph to its Board of Directors. Aaron brings deep experience in nonprofit governance, strategic planning, grant writing, and community partnerships, including service as Board President of QC Theatre Workshop and co-founder of Factor Technology Solutions.

With an MBA from the University of Iowa, Aaron’s leadership across nonprofit and technology sectors will help advance Career-Minded’s mission to support individuals navigating career setbacks and rebuilding professional confidence.

A new month is here a fresh chance to reset, grow, and continue breaking the stigma around mental health.

October reminds us that just like the seasons change, so do we. Healing, growth, and recovery aren’t always linear and that’s okay. What matters most is taking one step forward at a time.

October is also a month of awareness and education, reminding us to check in with ourselves and others, break the stigma, and spread hope and support.

At Career-Minded, we walk alongside individuals on their recovery journey, showing that no one has to start over alone.
