Our 𝐍𝐄𝐖 group of Independent Living residents were welcomed with a Coffee Meet + Greet gathering by our existing residents last Friday! ☕️♥️

New residents shared a little bit about themselves and why they chose Ridgecrest as their new home. Laughs and stories were shared.. and new friendships and connections were made. 👫

Joe Zerbe wrote a wonderful welcoming poem featured below that will be shared with new residents for years to come.

Moments like these are when we can sit back, reflect and know that we are making a profound impact in each of their lives through the work we do each day. We definitely left this gathering with that Ridgecrest feeling we strive for! 🫶🏼

We’re excited to share that a vintage pinball machine has officially arrived and it fits the vibe of our newly remodeled Hub perfectly!

A heartfelt thank you to Connie and Ron Jurgs for their incredibly generous donation and for taking the time to find just the right machine for our community. Your thoughtfulness and care continue to enhance the lives of our residents in such meaningful ways.

We’d also like to thank Becka and Mike from Blooming Acres for helping make this special addition possible by delivering it all the way from Mt. Vernon and setting it up.

This one-of-a-kind piece is already bringing joy, sparking memories, and adding a little extra fun to the Hub and we couldn’t love it more!
