Dr. Benjamin Van Raalte has been in practice for 32 years.

He is originally from Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery after completing 7 years of surgical residency at the University of Illinois and Cook County Hospital, and plastic surgery at Indiana University. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, which only admits ABMS board certified plastic surgeons. He is also a member of American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and was the first plastic surgeon in the Quad Cities admitted for membership. He has been President of the Iowa Society of Plastic Surgeons and President of the Midwestern Association of Plastic Surgeons. He was selected and completed the ASPS Pathways to Leadership program. In his career he was on emergency room call for over 5000 nights at two or more hospitals, did 3000 emergency surgeries, 5000 major surgeries, countless minor surgeries, over 10,000 Botox neurotoxin injections, and close to 10,000 filler injections. He is known for his breast augmentation, facial aesthetic surgery, and abdominoplasty surgery results.
