It's Team Member Tuesday and we are so thrilled to introduce you to one of our newest hygienists, Jordan! She's always smiling and brings so much calm and comfort to all of her patients! Let's get to know Jordan better!
What is your role at Cornerstone and how long have you been there?
I am a Registered Dental Hygienist at the Davenport location. I have been with Cornerstone for about 6 months.
What made you want to work in dentistry?
I have always known I wanted to go into a career where I'm able to make a positive impact on people's lives. Dentistry allows me to combine my passion for helping others with the ability to make a lasting impact on their health and confidence. Being able to see patients regularly, follow their progress, and create lasting connections over time is what I love most about dentistry and my role as a hygienist.
What's your favorite part about helping patients?
What I enjoy most is helping patients feel comfortable and cared for in my chair, especially since dentistry can be a source of anxiety for many people. I find it very rewarding to create an environment where my patients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their care.
Tell us about your family/pets/where you're from?
I grew up in Davenport, IA. I come from a family of four with two fur babies (Sadie and Milo) who keep me very busy and entertained!
If you weren't working in dentistry, what would you be doing?
I would probably be a physical therapist or personal trainer. Both careers would still allow me to combine my interest in health with making an impact on people's lives and their goals.

Beach vacation, mountain getaway, or staycation?
Beach vacation - but only if there's more to do than just lay in the sun. I love hiking, exploring, and doing lots of excursions.
What’s your guilty pleasure TV show?
Reality TV! Even though most of them are ridiculous, I find them very entertaining.
Who inspires you the most in life ?
My parents inspire me the most due to their strong work ethic and ability to care for our family. I am also inspired by the people I work with every day. Their willingness to always help and constant encouragement is something I truly appreciate and value.
What is one item on your bucket list?
Skydiving
