It was a privilege to drop off a donation to Lori from God's Will Giving Center in Morrison, IL, on behalf of all of the Cornerstone staff!
Right when I walked in the door, I knew something amazing was happening. Customers were shopping, donations were being dropped off, and you could feel the sense of joy and relief from this amazing organization.
Lori Snow started God's Will Giving Center two years ago when she saw a need in the community for basic necessities, food, clothing and home items. All of the items in the store are given to shoppers and they are allowed to take home 20 items per month. Everything is donated, and, in turn, is given away.
Speaking with her directly, I could see her heart and passion for what she does and how well-respected she is by everyone she meets. You don't run across such selfless people like Lori every day.
Thank you for giving us glimpse into what you do each day and how hard you work to bring more independence and second chances to all who walk through your doors! And thank you for keeping the spirit of generosity, hope, positivity and giving alive!
