This quarter’s Dignity in Action award winner luminates our Mission, Vision, and Value of Quality Care in the most unique way. Sarah Nyberg, our transportation aide, let me just start by saying thank you. You go above and beyond the duties of your role in so many ways. Whether it’s taking the residents to breakfast, to see the farm, or driving them around for a change of scenery; you always have their best interest at heart. Between the ice cream treats, ensuring they get to go to off campus activities, volunteering to go with them, and ding-dong ditching the Administrators house on a lights tour; the residents are always guaranteed to be belly laughing with you. You are not only the best tour guide and chauffeur, but a wonderful advocate for them. Not only do you help ensure their health by getting them to their appointments, you aren’t afraid to stick up for them and ensure they’re getting all of the services they’re entitled to. Brookestone of David City is so lucky to have you on this team! Your team, the residents, the families, and the community thank you for always putting everyone else first!
