My story on how it all began. Part 1 (see previous reel and reels to come).
Why did I quit neuro/rehab OT after almost 10 years in hospitals to become a women's pelvic floor therapist?
Why did I pivot to studying all things pelvic floor, pelvic floor rehab, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery?
Why did I opt out of the system for my prenatal care and birth?
Why did I become a strong advocate for homebirth?
Why did I create free resources for maidens and moms to increase their awareness and knowledge on prenatal+birth interventions and pelvic floor health?
Why did I choose to connect to my pelvic power and one of the most beautiful parts of myself as a woman without shame and guilt and be outspoken about it despite how I was raised?
Yet another major metamorphosis in my life began then, in 2019 (I've had others that I can put my finger on leading to who I am today).
and this is the first part to my story.

Hi, I'm Amy Jaramillo. Not your average pelvic floor therapist. I love helping women, I love Jesus, I love being a mom and homemaker (though I don't always feel great at either), I love being a wife + married to the most amazing man on the planet, and I love boldly sharing the truth about controversial things - The hard things that many people don't want to talk about for fear of being ostracized, marginalized, and shunned. I never was one to follow the crowd, so rejection never bothered me.
If you felt my heart in this and it resonated, I'd love to be friends. Say hi and let's connect. (I found some of my favorite humans on the Internet. š)
