Blue Umbrella Psychiatry

Blue Umbrella Psychiatry Blue Umbrella was formed to offer all mental health services under one roof. https://www.blueumbrellapsychiatry.com All of that is about to change.

If you are like many of our patients, you’ve been frustrated with previous psychiatric treatments and unable to find meaningful or lasting relief from symptoms that make life unpleasant. Dr. Eric Robbins founded Blue Umbrella after years of working in a fragmented and uncompassionate mental healthcare industry. He noted patients aligning with disconnected physicians and therapists leading to poor communication, mixed messaging and ineffective care. Blue Umbrella was formed to offer all mental health services under one roof with providers collaborating with each other and patients to care for the whole person. We promise to go beyond a diagnosis and work with you, providing you:

- Individual and supportive care you need and deserve
- Innovative services, based entirely on your needs
- Coordinated, evidence-based programs
- The help you need to move toward joy, peace and overall health and wellness

💬 Provider Review Highlight
We’re incredibly thankful for reviews like this from fellow mental health professionals. At Blue Umbrella Psychiatry, we truly believe in collaborative care — because the best outcomes happen when providers work together.

We’re grateful for our referral network and for the therapists who partner with us to support patients in their healing. We’re also committed to equipping therapists with psychiatric knowledge — from knowing when to refer, to understanding medication options and other treatment pathways.
That’s why we host Lunch & Learn networking events, giving therapists and practices the opportunity to connect, learn, and build meaningful referral relationships.
📅 We have a Lunch & Learn coming up next week, with limited spots still available.

If you’re a mental health professional interested in networking and collaborative care, DM us — we’d love to connect 🤍☂️

What Is TMS Treatment and How Does It Work?

Many people ask, “How does TMS treatment actually work?” At Blue Umbrella Psychiatry in Davie, FL, we use FDA-cleared Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation to target underactive areas of the brain linked to depression. TMS is non-invasive, requires no anesthesia, and allows patients to return to daily activities immediately after each session. It’s especially effective for individuals who haven’t found relief with medication alone. Our Davie-based psychiatric team carefully evaluates each patient to determine whether TMS for depression is the right fit, ensuring personalized and compassionate care every step of the way.

Mental Health Monday☀️
Small wins build confidence.
Every small step matters, especially on days when things feel heavy. Each tiny win creates momentum and gently reminds your brain that you’re capable and moving forward, even if it doesn’t feel dramatic.

💫Over time, those small moments of progress add up—building trust in yourself, quiet resilience, and the confidence to take on bigger challenges when you’re ready.

At Blue Umbrella, we care about your wellbeing and supporting you in feeling confident in yourself—because every small step toward self-trust matters.

🥧 Fun Fact Friday: National Pie Day & Mental Health!

Did you know that enjoying pie — especially with friends, family, or even colleagues — can actually support your mental well-being? Sharing food releases oxytocin, the “connection hormone,” which helps reduce stress, strengthen emotional bonds, and boost mood.

Even baking a pie yourself can be a mini mindfulness exercise! Measuring, mixing, and focusing on each step can calm the mind and reduce anxiety.

So today, whether you’re savoring a slice or making one from scratch, take a moment to enjoy the process — it’s good for your brain and your heart. 🧠💛

✨ Mental health isn’t just therapy and meditation — it’s also about connection, self-care, and small joyful moments.

Testimonial Tuesday 📸
The photos on our website say a lot — and so did our photographer. We’re incredibly grateful he was able to capture not only our team, but the values we stand for every day.

From the energy of our staff to the purpose behind what we do, his words affirmed what we strive to live out daily. It means so much when someone behind the lens can see and reflect the heart of our organization.

Mental Health Monday💫: Anxiety is exhausting because your brain never clocks out— even when you’re “relaxing,” it’s still scanning, worrying, and replaying.

That constant mental and emotional load drains you, while stress hormones keep your body stuck in overdrive, like revving a car engine all day. Add muscle tension on top of it, and no wonder you’re tired.

The goal isn’t to push harder, but to slow things down: take grounding breaks, breathe longer exhales, move your body gently, and give your nervous system permission to rest—real rest brings energy back.

Fun Fact Friday ✨
Did you know gratitude acts like a reset button for your brain? It boosts feel-good chemicals like dopamine and serotonin, calms the brain’s stress response, and strengthens the part of your brain responsible for emotional balance and perspective.

Over time, practicing gratitude can help you stress less, sleep better, and build stronger connections—proof that small mindset shifts can create big changes in how your brain works.
