🏌️ Golfers — your outer left knee is trying to tell you something. Here’s how to know what.
I want to tell you about a patient I’ll call Marcus. Fifty years old. Attorney. Ten handicap. He doesn’t play golf for fun — he plays golf to do business. The back nine is his boardroom.
And then slowly, quietly, his outer left knee started showing up uninvited. By hole 11, something would grab. By the 6th tee one morning, he realized he was thinking about his knee instead of his yardage.
That’s not a pain problem. That’s a performance problem.
Here’s what nobody told Marcus — and what most doctors miss: the outside of the knee is not one diagnosis. It’s four. And each one has a completely different cause, a completely different pattern, and a completely different fix.
In my latest video, I break down all four — plus give you a 60-second self-check to start figuring out which one is yours. I also share my honest take on cortisone injections and why I think golfers in their 40s and 50s deserve a better conversation than they’re usually getting.
