Hip pain is caused by a number of conditions besides arthritis. Often times, there is a lack of mobility that can be restored with mobilization and tight muscles that can be relaxed with PNF stretch. Other conditions of the hip include bursitis and tendon changes at the insertion on the trochanter, which respond well to ultrasound and cupping.
