Week 13 - Yourself with 13 things 📷 I’m playing catch-up with my photo of the week challenge. I deviated a little from week 13’s theme. Week 12 of 52 Weeks Photo Challenge - Something New 📷 One of my commitments for 2020 was to learn how to play “Long Time Sunshine” on the ukulele 🎵Thanks for the inspiration Kirsten & Jivan Shakti. I haven’t played an instrument since elementary school. At least, I have the ukulele. Now, time to do the work ❤️

Week 11 of 52 Week Photo Challenge - Something Old 📷 Ridley made this several years ago when he went to Fairfield Elementary. It’s a sweet, little (two teacher) cooperative school out in the country. His fondest memories of school were during that time and at DPNS. I miss the sweet innocence of those times and our darling boy 🐥

Week 10 of 52 Weeks Photo Challenge - Faceless Self Portrait 👤I’ve been behind on my photos..I’m sure you can imagine why 📷 Can you see me? Sometimes the less we see 👁 the more we can know. Sheltering in can create a magnifying effect on our lives. More time for reflection and less time for distraction. When we slow down and look at our shadow side does it scare us? Are we uncomfortable acknowledging the things about ourselves that we have been trying to ignore? In that discomfort lies out healing. Acknowledge, Forgive and Release 💙

Week 9 of 52 Weeks Photo Challenge - Childhood Memories 📷 I found this payment book from Traynham’s Music. If you are my age and you grew up in Woodland than you know what I’m referring to when I say “Traynham’s Music” 🎼 Anyone in our small town who played a musical instrument, took music lessons or rented an instrument for band went there. When I was in the 5th & 6th grade, I was a frequent visitor to this one stop shop as a clarinetist 🎶 I’ve always wanted to resume playing an instrument. Perhaps this will be my year..ukulele..cello...I don’t know. It’s never too late 😁 Too bad I can’t have those same prices for a rental...$16.43 a month - what a deal!

Week 8 of 52 Weeks Photo Challenge - Bad Habit ✋🏻 I confess I’m a nail biter. Strangely, I didn’t bite my nails once over a 4-6 week period (I’m not actually sure about the start date since this wasn’t a conscious decision). I was amazing and happy to see this side effect manifested from self care by utilizing a dedicated practice of healthy eating and Kundalini yoga. But this pasted week was especially disturbing and stressful. And my pinky received the brunt of it while it’s brothers and sisters were spared 😊
