Dr Florie Wild, PsyD

Dr Florie Wild, PsyD Soulful Therapy Somewhere inside, we have a deep sense of knowing. Some of us stand calmly in it. Others catch glimpses. You deserve to love and be loved fully.

You belong here: in this place, at this time. You have unique gifts: yours to delight in and share with the world as you will. If you have forgotten, I want to help you remember. I would be honored to guide you on a journey to:

move beyond limited stories that no longer serve you
activate the intuitive, soulful knowing within you
love yourself unconditionally
create a life that feeds your spirit
expand into your authentic, powerful self
find your path and the courage to follow it

The environment I create is nurturing, challenging, accepting, and honest. There is room for humor, despair, and mistakes. As our counseling deepens, our interconnection becomes a means of healing and growth.

Having some morning Soul Time, something I instituted 14 years ago, while still working full time at UCD. Through Wild Women Permission Slips and time blocking I’ve protected and grown it to an hour or so every morning for journaling, watercoloring, letter writing, and podcasts, (this morning On Being with adrienne maree brown, soooo good).

What can you do to resist the spell of productivity? What might unfold if you created and protected time to just be, to watch the weather, the “good news of the garden,” to listen to your heart and tell the folks you love how you love them?

Wild Women Rising can certainly help but you can do this now. You are the Permission Giver. What do you give yourself permission for? Write it below and on a paper you put on your wall.

It works.

Missing all the “shmushes” of the 2025 Wild Women cohort. What great group, I’m so grateful I get more than half of them for another year!

Are you getting enough touch and love? I know it’s not for everyone, but it does so many good things for us and we could all be getting so much more of it.

I created Wild Women Rising so I could curate the counter culture I’ve always imagined is possible. Where we always give the real check in, where all of us is welcome, where we share about the miscarriages and suicides, massage each other, then put on a fake mustache and sing and dance until our throats hurt.

I’m making a little world like this, one cohort at a time.

Join us this year!

Doors are officially open for the 2026/27 Wild Women Rising cohort!

Holy s**t 2025 was a powerful year,

With 8 years of perfecting this program that now has close to 200 graduates, Wild Women Rising has turned into something beyond what I imagined when I nervously began with 9 brave women in my tiny duplex living room in 2017.

Six weeks ago, the 44 Wild Women 2025 cohort graduates passed though the Tunnel of Love in Mendocino, smiling, crying and broken open. They left jobs and marriages that were too small for them. They found love and more soulful and satisfying careers. They developed confidence, deep love for themselves and lasting community.

If you’re ready for real change, give yourself the gift of structure, guidance, and playful sisterhood in this almost decade-old program with proven results.

This program is so fun and powerful, 26 of this years graduates have already signed up to do it again.

That means that this year’s cohort is close to half full, and we will likely sell out.

Are you ready to be the most free, authentic, powerful, and unappologetic version of yourself?

Get early bird pricing and secure a spot before it sells out.

Why are we so embarrassed of our “ugly cry”? I love how everyone has a unique way of crying, as we do for smiling, and I think it’s just as beautiful.

Crying together is as good and bonding as laughing together. And we NEED to do it together. It’s hard wired into us.

It’s just cultural bulls**t we can undo. Will you help undo it with me? I’ll show you my “ugly cry” if you show me yours. :)

And dudes. Doors open to the 2026/2027 Wild Women cohort SOON! Like probably next week.

And Gathering tickets will also be available soon, like maybe next week.

We’re starting off the free workshop season with a grief ritual in Berkeley on Saturday 1/31.

The free workshop schedule is already up and you can see via “Events” link in bio.

I’ve always hated New Year’s Eve. The calendar seems so arbitrary, my bed time’s 9pm, and who wants to go to a big party in the winter?

But I like to reflect on what’s the soul of a holiday, since we’re all primed to celebrate something. This year I read old journals, cold plunged in and sent love messages to those who deeply matter. It felt good!

My intention for this year is to slow down for the life of the soul even more. To greet and gawk with gratitude the daily magic of water droplets on bare branches, the chattering bushtits on my fennel, the little bulbs popping up promising spring, and all the people who show up unannounced when I’m in “work mode.”

Every day has so much magic in it. We just need to slow the f**k down to see it.

Oh and has a new book! It’s sooooo good.

One of the things I love about Wild Women Rising is how fun it can be. On the last full day of the retreat we howled and moaned for the grief ritual, put ourselves back together with naps and sensual movement, then scream sang karaoke in outlandish costumes. In my opinion a perfect day and how the world should be.

I am over the moon I get another journey with more than half of this cohort who will continue. Doors open to the Wild Women Curious 1/6. Free workshop schedule announced soon!
