Today we celebrate the earth — and we do it every day through the power of community gardens. 🌻
Our gardens aren’t just about growing food. They’re about growing health, connection, and hope in our communities.

From the Darioush Community Garden in Napa (where tomatoes, figs, and sunflowers thrive) 🍅 to the Food Is Medicine Garden in Woodland (distributing 3,000 lbs of fresh produce to patients every year!) 🥦 to our newest Salud Garden in West Sacramento — proof that food can grow anywhere, even on concrete 🌿 — we’re putting down roots for healthier communities.

This Earth Day, we’re reminded that caring for the earth and caring for people go hand in hand. 💚

🌱 Our garden is in bloom at the Food Is Medicine Garden at Hansen Family Health Center in Woodland! This special space offers patients and staff a peaceful place to relax, garden, or enjoy a lunch break, plus free fresh fruits, vegetables, and nutrition resources in our waiting rooms. Open 5 days a week with cooking & gardening classes available monthly. 🌿

A heartfelt thank you to for their generous support in funding this beautiful garden, and to for helping fund our Napa garden. Your investment in our community’s health and well-being makes all of this possible. We are so grateful! 💚
