Haven Behavioral Hospital of Dayton is a licensed 32-bed acute care psychiatric hospital providing inpatient psychiatric stabilization and treatment to adults ages 30 and older who are experiencing acute symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders and psychosis. Patients are treated through a program of comprehensive assessments, medication evaluation and stabilization before a coordinated return to an appropriate environment. We are a facility committed to excellence for the treatment of our patients.

Our Senior Community Liaison Teresa Baker attended Family Dinner Night at the Dayton Recovery Project, where she shared information about Haven Behavioral Hospital’s services — including how to refer, insurance options, and the variety of mental health treatments we provide.

Together, we had meaningful conversations about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and ways to support someone who may be struggling.

The Dayton Recovery Project offers incredible resources such as peer recovery coaching, peer certification, 12-step meetings, support groups, and life enrichment activities like journaling classes for both men and women. They also provide referrals for additional services.

We’re proud to partner with and support such a dedicated organization making a difference in our community.

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Dayton CEO Jonathan Duckett recently met with Sarah Hauck, Deputy Director of Recovery Ohio, and Carol Baden, Community Health Advisor for the Recovery Ohio Office of Governor Mike DeWine.

During the meeting, we discussed the incredible work being done to make Ohio workplaces recovery-friendly - a mission we proudly share as a Recovery Friendly Workplace.

We also shared how Haven collaborates with judicially involved individuals in need of mental health stabilization and how our partnerships with local jails and courts help ensure individuals receive the care and support they need.

The Together Tuesday Outreach Program hit the streets on this beautiful fall day distributing 150 Snack & Resource Bags, Harm Reduction Supplies, Hygiene Kits, Dog Treats for the pups, and most importantly - hope.
