Dehydration and Anxiety

Did you know that even MILD dehydration can cause feelings of fatigue, confusion, tension, and anger?

Also, dehydration stresses the body, lowering blood pressure and making your heart beat faster. It can make you feel dizzy and lightheaded.

The exact symptoms of anxiety!!

So, if you start feeling these symptoms, before freaking out or staying home and avoiding the world… try drinking water!! 🙌

Let’s take our power back and not be controlled by symptoms. This is an easy way to “check in” with the body and see if dehydration (if you aren’t drinking at least 8 cups of water a day or half your body weight… you may need more water) is what is causing your anxiety symptoms!

One of my favorite things to do is get out in the woods. I feel the Sacred when I am in nature. I feel connected to all of it- my heart and mind… and especially my spirit opens up and fills with gratitude. Yesterday, this was my destination. I took my shoes off and let my feet feel the ground beneath me. I closed my eyes and listened, I took in all the smells and sounds and when I opened my eyes… there was a peace that passes all understanding… nature is my medicine. I hope you find some healing today too!
