One of the talented cast members, Tyler, is our summer student volunteer and the son of our beloved beautician Jessica! We're proud to partner with Day City Hospice to honor the selfless service of our community’s veterans. Our residents, who represent every branch of the military, as well as their spouses and children, are an inspiration to us all. We're grateful for the opportunity to also recognize Arlene, a resident who lost her husband in the Vietnam War, with a special widow's pin, and we're humbled by her strength and sacrifice. Today and every day, we salute our veterans and their families for their bravery, dedication, and service to our country.

In our community, residents' families easily become an extended part of our own families! We are always grateful to them and the support they provide our community. Recently a family member shared some homemade apple butter for our residents. Everyone enjoyed it together and some, if not most of them had seconds!
We'll take our sweet Eleanor's word for how delicious it was, as she said, "Oh Boy, nothing is better than this right now."
