What a beautiful, spring day for a bike ride courtesy of Glen, from Cycling Without Age, and his bicycle! Twice a month, residents enjoy a bike ride on Glen's "Trio bike Trishaw" through the lovely neighborhood of Oakwood where we are greeted by our neighbors, enjoy the sights and sounds of the surrounding community and let the breeze blow in our hair! Thank you, Glen, for always making the bike trips safe and enjoyable! 🚲 🚴‍♂️

Today was a beautiful day to celebrate the amazing mothers of Brookdale Oakwood with their families. Residents and guests enjoyed a brunch of chicken and waffles, mixed fresh berries, bagels with flavored cream cheese, homemade egg bites and yogurt parfaits.

Today, some of our residents "traveled" to England as part of our "Where in the World?" activity program. Residents enjoyed seeing all the travel posters for the UK, learning facts about England, as well as reminiscing for those who have traveled to the country. The activity was topped off with a handwritten note to His Majesty, the King of England that was signed by residents. We anxiously await a reply from King Charles.
