What does real support look like after you leave treatment? It’s not one-size-fits-all. It’s finding what works for you. It takes trial and error. It takes staying connected to the positive people you’ve gained along the way and choosing the things that align with who you’re becoming.

That’s why at DeCoach, it’s your recovery, your way in real time. With continued support and our alumni program, you’re never walking this alone. Recovery doesn’t end when treatment does. It evolves with you.

Addiction is powerful because it convinces you that you’re okay. It helps you justify the behavior, minimize the consequences, and promise yourself you’ll “cut back” next time. When something is numbing pain or helping you cope, your mind will work overtime to protect it even if it’s hurting you.

If you’ve been stuck in that cycle, you’re not crazy and you’re not weak. Denial is part of the disease. At DeCoach, we understand how hard it is to see things clearly again, and we can help you reframe your life in a healthier way. You don’t have to fight your own mind alone.

Navigating the legal system while trying to get sober can feel overwhelming. I didn’t have guidance when I went through it years ago and it made recovery even harder. That’s why today, I work alongside the courts to help remove those barriers so people can access treatment faster and focus on what really matters: getting their life back.
At DeCoach, we believe legal trouble shouldn’t stop someone from starting recovery. If you or someone you love feels stuck between the courts and getting help, we’re here to walk that path with you.

In early recovery, I used to think I was bored. But the truth? I was finally experiencing peace. When you’ve lived in chaos for so long, calm can feel unfamiliar. And that’s where growth begins.
Through our alumni program at DeCoach, we help people rediscover what they actually enjoy, healthy activities, connection, purpose. Recovery isn’t about losing your old life. It’s about building a better one.

There’s a point where alcohol stops being “just social” and starts feeling necessary. When you lose control over how much you drink… when you can’t seem to cut it off… that shift matters. Addiction follows a predictable path, and the earlier you recognize it, the more you can change where it leads.

You don’t have to wait until you’ve lost everything to ask for help. If you see yourself slipping from control into dependency, there is a solution. At DeCoach, we’re here to help you step off that path and take your life back before it takes more from you.

At DeCoach, recovery begins the moment you call. As part of the admissions team, I see every day how much our staff truly cares. We’re family-oriented, team-driven, and many of us are in recovery ourselves, so we understand what you’re walking through. There’s no finger-pointing here. No shame. Just second chances and real support.

We help remove barriers whether that’s food, clothing, or simply someone who listens. If you’re scared to take that first step, know this: you’ll be met with compassion, not judgment. And you don’t have to do this alone.

Education can be a powerful turning point in recovery. At DeCoach, I use my background in education and domestic violence studies to help clients learn real tools for anger management, parenting, corrective thinking, and personal growth. When we know better, we truly can do better and that knowledge can open the door to a healthier future.

If you or someone you love is struggling and needs support, DeCoach is here to help with compassionate care and life-changing education. Recovery is about learning, growing, and giving yourself the chance to build a better life.

A lot of people say, “It’s just alcohol,” because drinking is socially accepted and everywhere we look. But working in hospital outreach, I see the reality every day most substance-related hospital admissions are tied to alcohol, from serious GI bleeds to cirrhosis. It’s a reminder that alcohol can be just as dangerous as any other drug when it starts impacting your health and your life.

If alcohol is starting to take more than it’s giving, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. DeCoach is here to help you take back control and find a healthier path forward.

What DeCoach gave me something I didn’t expect was myself. It helped me find who I am again, my integrity, my compassion for others, and my voice to finally tell my story. Taking this step was scary, but I did it, and I’m so glad I did.
I never thought I’d be where I am today. If you’re afraid to take that step, just know this: if I can do it, you can too.
