There are few things I enjoy more than talking about the ways we can better serve our female athletes.

I recently joined the Table Talk podcast for a conversation about rethinking women’s health physical therapy—from postpartum recovery to athletic performance and everything in between. We discussed pelvic health, athletic training, and the importance of seeing the whole person rather than a diagnosis.

Thankful for the opportunity to share my passion for advancing women’s health and rehabilitation.

Give it a listen and let me know what resonates with you most!

Coffee and meaningful conversation ☕️
Spent some time today at bostonstoker with modernmassageandwellness talking about therapeutic presence and how creating a calm, supportive environment can help regulate the nervous system.
When the body feels safe, it’s better able to rest, recover, and respond to care.
Grateful for shared perspectives and continued collaboration in supporting whole-person wellness 💙

Runners often focus on miles, pace, and strength training.
But one key system is often overlooked: the pelvic floor.

The pelvic floor works together with your:
• diaphragm
• core muscles
• hips and glutes
to stabilize your body and manage pressure during running.
Signs your pelvic floor may need support:
• leaking during runs
• pelvic heaviness
• hip or low back pain
• persistent core weakness postpartum

Pelvic health physical therapy can help runners improve strength, efficiency, and confidence.
Your body should support your running — not limit it.
